Take a small piece of hair from the left side of the left ponytail and cross it over to the right ponytail. 3. Repeat on the right. Take a small piece of hair from the right side of the right ponytail and cross it over to the left ponytail. 4. Repeat this process all the way down your hair. Each time, cross a small piece of hair from one side to the other. As you move down your hair, the pieces will cross over to form the fishtail braid. 5. Secure the end of your fishtail braid with a small clear elastic.

2. Gather all your hair into a low ponytail and secure with a hair elastic. Don’t pull the hair too tightly, as you want to keep as much volume as possible in the crown area. Gently pull at the top of your ponytail to loosen the hair and create a 1960s silhouette. 3. Using the bristle brush or comb, smooth over the top section of hair to create a rounder shape. 4. Take a small piece of hair from the base of your ponytail and wrap it around your hair elastic to cover it. 5. Secure the ends of the wrapped hair underneath with a bobby pin.
