A proper home for the stove.

The story starts with the old stove popping and hissing and leaking, kind of reflecting its environment. Too far gone to fix. The next chapter produces a replacement for the old stove.

Thinking: wouldn’t it be just the thing to solve a slew of issues if the stove had a proper home? Something like this great spot near the prep tables in this blueprint?

In a building that might look like this?

A fuller explanation from Archbishop Michael:

As you know, St. Andrew’s Camp is raising funds for the building of a new Kitchen, Dining Hall and Activities Center. An architectural drawing of the proposed facility is shown above, construction will cost an estimated $300,000. At last year’s Diocesan Assembly, it was decided that every parish would take up a Collection for the benefit of this building project, and benefactors who have been blessed by God would be urged to contribute toward the cost of this new facility for our youth. Already $60,000 has been donated or pledged!

An Anonymous Donor has offered a Matching Pledge: For every dollar donated for the new building in the month of July, the Anonymous Donor will match each contribution – up to $10,000!

Please help meet this number by donating this month to the Camp’s Building Project; your donation will be met by this anonymous donor!

All contributions should be made out to “Saint Andrew’s Camp” – earmarked for the “New Building Project” – and mailed to:
Diocesan Chancery
33 Hewitt Avenue
Bronxville, NY 10708.

May God bless all those who contribute toward this new facility at our youth camp – with all the good things that come from His hands.
